AONB WARDENS

Interested in volunteering?

Touching the Tide is hosted by the Suffolk Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).  The AONB's volunteers undertake practical tasks, Coast and Estuary Wardening, and help to survey and maintain promoted long distance routes like the Sandlings Walk and the Suffolk Coast path.

Touching the Tide, supported by funding from The Crown Estate, is providing a programme of training and support for the AONB volunteers, including field naturalist skills like bird watching and archaeological training.  We've also provided AONB branded fleeces to help the volunteer wardens be recognised.
