Bill Jenman was the Touching the Tide Project Manager. Bill came to Suffolk via Orkney, Wiltshire, and Sussex. He’s mostly worked for wildlife charities apart from a spell looking after the South Downs Way National Trail, and a year in Orkney working on another Landscape Partnership Scheme. He first came to Suffolk in about 1988 for a conference, and now lives near Wickham Market.
Kate Osborne was the Touching the Tide Project Officer. After a career change that saw her work as the ranger at Landguard Nature Reserve near Felixstowe she joined TtT to take the lead on the projects involving events, education and training. She loved TtT and now that the project has finished carries on beachcombing with Beach Bonkers.
Helen Taylor was the Touching The Tide Business Support Officer. As well as her fantastic behind-the-scenes administration work, she produced posters, fliers and articles, talked to people at events, and helped a lot of children make ringed plover chicks and lighthouse nightlights.
